How it works

  • You can download your E-Voucher from the rewards store in the section "My transactions" under "My account"
  • The E-Voucher can only be used to book through www.travelstart.com or the Travelstart App
    • Go to www.travelstart.com and select the flight of your choice
    • Enter personal details and proceed to payment
    • Redeem your E-Voucher in the designated field "Got a Voucher?”
    • Enter your voucher code in the designated field and click "Apply"
    • The voucher amount will be deducted from your total flight cost
    • Continue with the payment checkout process and complete your booking
  • The E-Voucher Code is valid for three (3) years from the date of issue
  • E-Vouchers are issued in accordance with points available in African Bank’s Audacious Rewards portal.
  • E-Vouchers can only be used to book through www.travelstart.co.za or the Travelstart App.
  • E-Vouchers may not be used in conjunction with any other reward, E-Voucher or discount which is being promoted by Travelstart at the time of booking.
  • E-Voucher issued is subject to a validity period not exceeding 3 years.
  • The value of the E-Voucher will be deducted from the total booking value at checkout. The remaining balance, if any, must be paid by the customer.
  • Any balance that remains on the E-Voucher after the E-Voucher validity period has ended will no longer be available for use. Neither Travelstart nor African Bank will be held liable for any loss and you specifically indemnify Travelstart and African Bank from any loss associated with the E-Voucher expiring through the effluxion of time.
  • Additional and/or extra values/amounts (Top Ups) cannot be added to existing E-Vouchers.
  • Standard terms and conditions for booking made via travelstart.co.za or through the Travelstart App  will apply to ALL bookings using your voucher. Your attention is drawn to the following:
    • Travelstart renders the service of hosting an online search and booking portal, through which You will:
      • Have access to the portal; and 
      • Be entitled to set certain travel, flight and/and/or other service criteria based on information gleaned from the internet; and 
      • Be able to confirm bookings and place reservations relating to Travel, flights and/or other services. 
  • You specifically acknowledge (when booking using the Travelstart website and/or App) that Travelstart provides the services acting on behalf of Travel Suppliers, whether Airlines or accommodation providers engaged in or associated with the travel and/or accommodation industries (collectively referred to as the "Principal”). Travelstart represents the Principal as agents only AND ACCORDINGLY ACCEPTS NO LIABILITY for any loss, damage (including loss of profits or consequential or special damages), injury, illness, harm or death (except if such loss or damage arises from the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Travelstart or any person acting for or controlled by Travelstart), which any Client may suffer as a result of any act or omission on the part of or the failure of the Principal in fulfilling its obligations, whether in relation to travel arrangements, flights or otherwise.
  • In the event a flight booking (to which the E-Voucher pertains to) is canceled by the airline after E-Voucher redemption, monies owing will be refunded by Travelstart in the form of an E-Voucher or allocated to an alternative booking at your request. Please note that this will not restart the validity period. In addition to the above, as Travelstart is acting as an Agent on behalf of the Principal, you are advised that any cancellation arising in terms of this clause of the Voucher Agreement may be subject to the airline’s terms and conditions (which may include the cancellation process). In this case, any conflict between the voucher terms and conditions and that of the Airlines terms and conditions shall result in the airlines terms and conditions prevailing to the extent of the conflict.
  • In the event a flight booking is canceled by the customer (for any reason) the discounted E-Voucher amount will NOT be reallocated or refunded.
  • All bookings using your E-Voucher is subject to availability of the airlines. Travelstart will contact you in the event of any issues.
  • By purchasing, redeeming, or attempting to redeem an E-Voucher, you accept and agree to be bound by these E-Voucher Terms of Use and acknowledge you have read and understood these E-Voucher Terms of Use,
  • Travelstart’ Online Travel Operation (Pty) Ltd ("Travelstart”) Standard Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy apply.
  • Any dispute arising out of this Agreement (including the interpretation thereof) shall be subject to the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
